Instructions for this work were to make a GDD using a game from Megabloks. We decide to use Spheron Racing in order to make an original racing game.
Spheron Racing toys are racing cars driven by magnetic balls. We have used this particularity to create a really innovative racing game. Players would be able to use magnetism of their cars to jump, brake, or attack other players.
All races should be thought to use these possibilities. For example, to jump over a big hole, if a negative polarity pane is placed just before it, players should reverse their polarity to be positive, in order to be driven above the hole!
